Idle Hunting And Air Regulator

Ok so I was cleaning the aac valve by trying to fix my idle hunting and I thought hmm I'll clean the air reg too. So after a bit of swearing trying to get it out without removing the plenum, I finally started to pull it apart. Once apart I finnally cracked it open and I struck Texas gold!!! Oil galour! Now this I'm sure is not good...

What would be causing this?!?!

it could be that at some point in the past the turbo has had the front oil seal let go and then has dumped a heap of oil into the engine. some of this may have made it into the air reg
