Reputable Bodykit Dealers Help

Recommended Posts

Never been a forum person but other avenue's have failed so far.. I have a 1996 Series 2 R33 Skyline 2-door. Finally got the wheels I want. just trying to get the rest sorted.. I have decided to go for the full 400R kit Front/side/rear and a R33 GTR wing. clean and simple.. I dont mind getting a replica as I'm not made of cash. but all I seem to find is story's of theives and dodgy gear.. anyone point me to a REPUTABLE or QUALITY establishment in Aus where I can get this kit. I got the cash burning a hole in my pocket but I'm not going to waste what I have on dodgy gear.

Any Posts/story's/Contacts welcome... Many Thanks in advance

Bodyform

I got my kit through these guys. They stay in contact and keep you updated on whats happening. gave me a date and delivered i received it a few days before the date given. very happy with the quality of the kit. Had it professionally fitted and they told me it fit on with little work to no work done to make it fit. =]

Thanks for the feedback guys... I will check all suggestions out. although I have altered my thought's slightly. going to keep the S2 GTST wing on for now. and go to a GTR replica front bar for clearance. all I see on threads is how people are ripping their 400r front bar to bits. so I might just try find someone with a Series 2 gtst (GTR REPLICA) Here's hoping. Many Thanks for all comments so far. much appreciated :)

It depends if you want a cheap fibreglass kit or an expensive plastic one, i personaly went for the plastic one when i bought my 400R front, side skirts and spoiler.

The front bar cost me $1600, the side skirts were $650, and the spoiler $1400 from powerplay imports bout a year ago - may be cheaper now or maybe dearer just depends on the currency.

    • I'll just leave this here. https://www.adelaidespeakers.com/subwoofers.html TL loading, big power. They sound awesome. This is what I would buy if I was going to try to take the bass away from my floorstanders. Just go with the 12".
    • I'll snap up some photos when I'm back home, in the office today meeting my "in the office" quota. Have 2x Teams calls scheduled in, office culture they reckon.   I've never owned a proper off the shelf sub, I've always made or modified broken ones with Jaycar plate amps and/or car subwoofer drivers. The current (and broken) subwoofer has a proper home driver in it, Dayton driver, thos one https://www.daytonaudio.com/product/118/rss265hf-4-10-reference-hf-subwoofer-4-ohm FS of 25Hz, which is low but not low enough. Yeah, I think they were brought out to the market to compete with SVS. I would love a SVS PB-3000 but they're not cheap, especially after their price hike. From reviews online, it does look like the Tonewinner D6000 would destroy and with good amount of money saved too.
    • yeah, that happens too.  I'm really enjoying 4WDing at the moment, seen a few beautiful spots and want to go explore more of this enormous country.  The 370Z got a clutch LSD in it and a track day, great fun.  Getting the back end sorted out really rejuvenated my enthusiasm for driving it hard, the viscous one is poo especially in such a short and wide chassis.  The VLSD unpredictability was more benign in a long and skinny Skyline.
    • With my pre/power I use a remote trigger cable(3.5mm jack each end). I turn tv on, it turns both on via ARC. Or, just the pre with the remote or its streaming software, turns on both. Not that difficult at all. Obviously,  you would also want to actually update/upgrade over other factors in your life(bills, family, other hobbies, etc)
