Should I Get A R31?

its $700 and has 160,000km's on the clock.

the front left quarter is dented and the 2 tips that leave the rear resonator are broken off.

also the ignition barrel has been replaced and so the key will start it but won't lock it.

i have a peice of 2.5' pipe left over that i could use for the pipe and i could install central locking for a temporary fix, plus i have a vl so i have extractors and a high flow cat that will fit it,

it looks so much nicer inside than my car and its a sedna not a wagon.

what do you think?

Don't worry bout the kays,these things go forever can't kill em with a stick,my son has had a 31 for 7 years only knows 2 speeds flat out and dead stop,advance the timing makes em go heaps harder.Enjoy it there a top ride.

Nothing wrong with R31's. I've always found them much more enjoyable to drive and passenger in then its obvious competitors being similar aged commodores and falcons.

yeah iv had four 31's their great cars whack a vl turbo kit on and they scream ive got a whole 200kw kit for sale $800 with everything u need if ur interested lol

high comp turbo engines FTW!

as for the locks just buy solex locks from supercheap or autobahn their good makes ur car almost impossible to steal too!

Might be a good idea to get the timing belt an water pump etc replaced,better to be safe than sorry.
