Hey Troops,

I know this has most likely already been covered but I thought Id ask anyway.

I recently installed a Defi Gauge(AMBER/RED) on my steering collum and it makes the Stagea cluster look abit out of place.

got me thinking, Why did Nissan choose to have SO many different colours through out the Dash.

eg:

Cluster = Red + Amber/Yellow

Buttons = Blue/green Teal?

Auto selector = Candle light :down:

Climate controller / standard strero = White

I attempted replacing the cluster lighting with Red T5 LEDS but it only made "red circles" on the cards.

So I scrapped that idea. :D

Has anyone changed the lighting scheme of their S2 Stagea?

Cheers

In correct. dans led kits work fine.

In series 2's? In the s2's the dash has some colour filter which stops blue or something rather and makes normal LEDS very dull. The centre console is easy to do, but the dash i'v never attempted.

All dash's are going to have some sort of colour filter built into them. So you must think about what colours will work behind what filters and then select what colour leds

Yeah, thats why I was going to make them RED, The needles are Red and The numbers have a yellow filter so I thought Id 'round them up' to just RED :D

My previous experience with Older imports Ie: R32s and S13s, the filters are 'white' so any applied colour works well :(

Got red Leds in my S2 instruments, they look great, no dim spots. I can't tell you what make they are, since they were in the car when I bought it, but they are the type with 3 or 4 leds in each lamp.
