Quick Question On The Cam Gear Covers

At the moment i have NO cam gear cover and im wondering if they are all interchangable? lets say rb20 onto rb25 or rb25 onto rb20?

Yes they are interchangeable.

As far as I know the backing plate that cam belt top cover bolts to is different between RB26DETT, RB20DET. Some have modified the stock RB20DET backing plate to work with RB26DETT cam belt top cover. Don't know about RB25DET cam belt top cover, but would assume it uses the same backing plate as RB20DET.

yep 25 -> 20 are interchangeable but not 20 -> 25 because the 25 one has the bulge for the intake VCT

so, rb20 won't fit on my rb25! bugga

can u get a cover that fits rb25 but doesn't have rb25 on it? im after one that has no markings on it at all!
