hello anyone with any info on the possability of importing a pre 1980 nissan skyline all info would be appreciated thanks

If it's pre-1989 built, then the world is your oyster, if you find the right car, it can be imported. Anything else you want to know?

I cant remember exactly, but think cars over 25 years might not have to pay import duty or gst or something.

^^Nope, unless you're an overseas visitor on holiday and are taking your car back home with you when you leave, all cars coming into Australia attract duty and GST

thanks for the info could be very helpful any more info on import companies that do classics would be very helpful

Well any importer can import classics but no one i know of import nostalgia to resell here for several reasons.

- Expensive in Japan

- Very small niche market

- You can most likely buy a car that's here already for cheaper
