im looking at buying an r33 but i was unsure if a towball would beable to be fitted to this vehicle....??? can anyone help. i wonder if i am the first to ever ask this lol. all help would be GREAT!

Theres a 32 with one here in WA, I used to work with the owner's father-in-law.

So the answer is "yes it CAN be done, but no it should never BE done"

Tow bars can be fabricated for an R33, it should cost no more than $500.

My mate got one last week for his 33, took a total of 4 hours and works very well.

Got it done in Malvern, Melbourne.

my 33 had 1 on it... only discovered after i bought it as it was taken off b4 i bought it.. long story short should have checked the spare wheel well cause it was covered with rust

my b/f had one put on his old r33 the s14 towbar fits with a bit of modification to the car.

I tow a 17ft ski boat a my bikes up the bush with my gtr over in little pic under my user name. Only prob is you need to pull the fuse for 4wd at the ramp to get the boat out.

Made it myself and at a guess the bat would weight about 900kg with fuel and trailer. Tows it easily. They should as they weigh the same as a commodore.

I custom knocked one up for my 33... Basically copied a HayemReice bar... I had to cut the rails and weld in thicker material... used it to tow my race cooper S around and it worked a treat

hey mate i live next door to some guys that own a mobile tow bar fitting service. if your serious about one i can ask them and they can use my 33 for templates... let us know...
