hey guys,

will these wheels fit on my r34 GTT, id prefer not to use any more camber, or flare if i dont have to, coz im worried about the paint... can i get away with just rolling them? or just runnin stretched tyres?

wheel sizes are 18x8.5 +29 , 18x9.5 +25

the rears have 265's on em too which i could change easy enough to stretched tyres if needed (235's mayb).

need some advice

Thanks

that will fit straight on i cant imagine any guard work necessary its pretty conservative.. wait for some r34 owners they might know different..

personally id be going wider then 8.5 but your call

235's wont be exactly 'stretched' either. They'll be a little bit skinnier but won't be any crazy stretch. I think you'll be fine with a decent roll.

Are you sure about that?

Because my friend here is running 18x9.5 +18 (7mm more than the above posted specs) with a 245/40R18 tyre. It needed a minor roll.

And here I am running 17x9 +13 (6mm more than the above posted specs) with a 215/45R17 tyre. Also needed to be rolled.

Neither of these examples are 'sunken'.

With a 265 he will be running a nice enough stance

Fronts will be fine, so probs.

Rear's the 265's might be a bit close, probly only need a roll to clear them though, with a 235 wud go straight on.

And with the above pic's, his rims will sit in further then those.

hey guys thanks for all the responses.

ive already got the rims and tried fitting just the back right, and as i was lowering it back down im pretty sure it was about to clip the guard...

arrr forgot to mention that alex lol, yes its been lowered already... how much im not sure exaclty

il take a pic now and post it up might be able to help...

anh jimmy he hasnt mentioned his cars hieght if its lowered or will be lowered..

and dude both those cars need dropping another inch :P

White R34 has since been lowered at least another inch.

My car unfortunately is at the lowest height on an old model of Tein Superstreets, I would be going lower if I could but I just can't afford it.

you'll probably need to lip the rears..... but no flaring so your paint be fine :)

awesome  as id really hate to screw the paint just tryn to fit wheels under it.. although i recon they can look real good flared... but mayb not worth the risk

i guess 235's it is.. pity i cant use the rest of the tread of the 265s but..

hey guys,

wheres a good place to get my rear guards rolled?

ive been shopping around to find some1 to roll my guards,

the tyre factoy - said he can cut em with an airsaw for 80$ but ive been reccommended to stay away from that =S

tried one panel beater he said no

then another said he can roll for 150-200 maybe havent gone had a chat with him yet...

any suggestons? and whats a decent price to get it done?

thanks

Don't pay anymore than $50 - $80 per corner if you are only rolling the inner lip. And yes, having fitted close to a dozen sets of wheels on my previous 34, your specs will sit nicely lowered and rolled with 265s on the rear.

thanks n15m0, i rang primal garage and they said they do it for $60 a corner which seem pretty reasonable

i ended up actually being able to get the wheels on the car, but its not really driveable as the gap between the tyre and the rear guard is that small i cant fit a finger between it...

also the car is on a slight slant dont no if thats makin a difference... its sloping to the left hand side of the car..

wat do ya think people? a roll gona do it hopefully..? and mayb some smaller tyres..
