i gave my engine a clean today, sprayed degreaser on it left it for a bit then gave it a spray down at the car wash,

i coverd the pod with a plastic bag and everything to keep it dry,

now when i take of it "flutters" at about 3000RPM.

i need new coilpacks and i know that feeling, but this is differant.

any help would be great guys.

cheers

my guess is that there is water down around the spark plugs/coil packs and it is making them arc out. if you have the rocker valley cover still on, pull it off and i bet you will find a heap of water in there. if you have a compressor use it to blow it out. otherwise remove the coils and use some tissues to soak it up. just make sure you leave your spark plugs in. you don't want the water getting into the cylinders.

once you have dried it all out, put the coils back in and leave the valley cover off and go for a drive and see what it does.
