Intercooler Quiry

I had a sweet power run on the dyno of 285rwkw, another run seen 10kw loss, another seen another 10kw. i believe i have heatsoak of the intercooler. have what looks like to be one of those blitz return flow fairly well straight bolt on jobs (using the stock pipes into the plenum etc)

does anyone agree that the intercooler is/could be the problem?

i would upgrade to a better intercooler but what one??? I have heard that the gtr intercooler is the best as it has a good funneld inlet outlet allowing better flow though the core.

I was just asking for some suggestion on the heatsoak and the intercooler thanks

Without testing intake temps, impossible to say.

i tested them with one of those like infrared point at temp guns but i thougth that was no good. what is a good intake temp?

and if it is not intercooler what other things should i have a look at?

Doesn't matter what a good temp is, what matters is what yours are doing!

Did it show a distinct rise in temp?

How accurate are those temp guns?

I would have through a test from a proper sensor @ the plenum and turbo outlet

Unless I intended driving on a dyno, I wouldn't worry about a slight change in power numbers.

On the road airflow should be much better than a fan can supply.
