I still fondly remember when my mate's first xbox 360 had the red lights of death.... and in the middle of a mad Gears of War session.

Nothing global? I reckon every gamer knows atleast one person with an Xbox 360 thats KO'd on them or has some kind of hardware problem. :D

Didn't microsoft release an updated 360 that supposedly doesn't get the RROD?? I'm sure there are a few people even on here that bought these "fixed" systems and still copped the red rings of death... either that, or the disc tray f*cks up. search 'disc tray modification' on youtube and check out the dodgy fixing methods.; tis a good laugh, it is.

My dad was going off last week that COD MW2 wasn't working on his PS3 and i suppose this is what it was. I told him about it just then but he said his PS3 won't go online still? Are all of your guys fine?

It would be a similar reaction. I am a consumer for both products. Not really sure what this thread has to do with xbox.

His PS3 should be working fine now. If he's having problems with going online, the cause would be something else other than the global crash. Re-check the network settings on the PS3 or the actual router's settings.
