Just wondering if there is any way of tricking the Attessa system into activating. Got a suspicion my front torque meter is knackered. Coming out of a corner and getting stuck into it, the rears spin and the car heads reasonably straight, i'm assuming thanks to the attessa kicking in, but the front torque meter stays on 0. In fact it never moves. Ever. Just wondering if there is anyway to double check if the meter is working other than breaking traction.

cheers for the help

I did this when testing my xfer case - it was stuffed.

You need to be in an open space for this - hate to see someone's pride and joy slide into a wall or something.

I used a floor jack (a heavy duty wide one) to lift the rear tyres just off the ground like 1 inch. Then slowly take off in first - and I mean slowly! The attessa should notice that your rears are spinning faster than the fronts and think you've broken traction - putting traction to the fronts. The fronts should then pull your car forward. If the transfer case is stuffed or attessa has too much air then it won't engage and you'll just spin the rears with no front traction.

The GTR's really will spin the rears. They aren't like a full time AWD - so you will get plenty of power on oversteer, tail out fun. That's what makes them so great. An Full Time AWD will just spin all four.

Hope this helps.
