Boost Kick In

was wondering when ur boost kicks in and u change gears should the hissing noise stil be going through gears?

PS you have assumed that we all know what you have turbo, wastegate, bov etc, also we have no idea what your on about, is it hissing when boosting, is it the turbo whirring etc etc

A turbo still boosts when snapping gear changes, your motor is still huffing, and spinning that turbine - just not quite as much as it would when your planting the foot is all.

Im reading this as your car is still making that lovely boost noise BETWEEN gear changes, as in foot on clutch and its still 'boosting' while your shifting.

If so this is not good thing.

its not possible to be boosting too hard while your foots off the throttle. unless its a bad hissing noise like a leak ignore it
