How Much Should A Clutch Replacement Cost?

My mechanic says it will be about $500 labor and $400 for an organic (extreme brand) clutch which can stand 1200 (is that good?) i have an 1994 r33 gtst! Whats your view on that?

when i got my s13 silvia change over to an extreme organic heavy duty clutch labour was 350 with flywheel machining and i paid 400 bucks for the clutch from autobarn which i later realised was a real dumb idea. unless skylines are harder which i find hard to believe then it shouldnt be more than 700 all up

Payed $450 for Clutch install, Flywheel machining and Nissan gearbox oil. Clutch was about $500 from memory.

Extreme organic is okay but it will shudder like a bitch, make sure it's sprung centre
