Granthem
Wow. Nice. Not too much different from my GT-RS really - except you make the 250ishrwkw it does at 5000rpm Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/310413-290rwkw-with-a-gt3071r/page/2/#findComment-5115998 Share on other sites
Adriano
Have to wonder if it would make even more if boost didnt drop. Now tune it for e85 and make 320 Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/310413-290rwkw-with-a-gt3071r/page/2/#findComment-5116021 Share on other sites
usmair
yeh I wouldn't think it would make that much more even if boost remained constant through out the rev range... I'm seriously considering E85... going to have to look into bigger injectors and fuel setup... but might just wait till I see some more digits in the savings account Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/310413-290rwkw-with-a-gt3071r/page/2/#findComment-5116060 Share on other sites

Bunta
Nice power....But I thought z32 AFM cant read anything after 260rwkw? And how much psi were u running to get that sort of power? z32s are ok for a little over 300rwkw usually Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/310413-290rwkw-with-a-gt3071r/page/2/#findComment-5116462 Share on other sites
Harey
Nice power....But I thought z32 AFM cant read anything after 260rwkw? And how much psi were u running to get that sort of power? as per the dyno sheet attached on the first page of this thread, roughly 18-19psi fading down to about 17psi near redline. R33 0wnerrr
Just wondering....what kind of head gasket do you need to run to be able to handle that much boost on stock internals? Harey
also, what AR is your exhaust housing? Did we get the answer to this? Keen to hear if its the 0.63 or 0.82 housing! usmair
pretty sure its .82 ... best to double check with GCG themselves re the part number mentioned above... badhairdave
looks like -5023 with .82 response to me. Also no boost control issues so can't be a .63 IW. Nice results mate, It's actually a very similar curve to my sr with .63 3071 Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/310413-290rwkw-with-a-gt3071r/page/2/#findComment-5123796 Share on other sites
Don Dada
.... GCG rekon this new rear housing is 'original' Garrett and much more efficient... I would say this is the key ingredient for the better output you have now and is typical power for both the original Garrett Gt3071 with the .82 rear end and the Hks Gt2835..... with the extra 10kw or so just being difference in dynos Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/310413-290rwkw-with-a-gt3071r/page/2/#findComment-5123889 Share on other sites
R33 0wnerrr
the stock one. I thought and so have read, that the stock head gasket needed replacing when boosting over 1 bar or so? Granthem
I thought and so have read, that the stock head gasket needed replacing when boosting over 1 bar or so? Many people on this site are pushing 20psi or more through via the stock head gasket with no issues Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/310413-290rwkw-with-a-gt3071r/page/2/#findComment-5123980 Share on other sites
