Eyelids On Headlights

hey guys.

I purchased a set of Xenon HIDS for my r34. they came with white eyelids, however my cars black and I'm not 100% sure if I want them on.

just wanted to know how I can remove them? Hair dryer to heat up the glue/tape?

I guess if worst comes to worst I can just replace the face with the standard headlights I have.

all depends on how they got attached.. could try remove with heat/prying..

yeh i was hoping it wasnt superglue or anything LOL.

ill give the heatgun n prying a go.

you could try getting a razor blade or something under them to try and cut them off

Do people actually use superglue to attach eyelids?

Cos if thats the case, then you cant really take them off without leaving the crappy glue residue behind right?

I was hoping to take off the eyelids off my headlights too.

some dodgy/inexperienced owners will use anything to get it done/not go to a professional.. so yeah if someone used super glue / araldite, etc.. i wouldnt be surprised at all

i have factory xenon headlights for my 34 and a white car. we can swap headlights as im looking for eye lids for my car.
