hey guys

bought a omori temp gauge off yahoo and the copper line has snapped off at the sender. you can unscrew it and there is about an inch of copper tube still attached. can this just be soldered up, or does there need to be an air passage inside it for the guage to work(ie,tube cant be repaired)

alternatively, has anyone had this problem before and had it fixed?

yeah have called around and the general concencus is that its not worth fixing.

f**k i hate yahoo. and omoris. 100 bucks down the drain.

wtb : a jap water temp gauge that works.

the risks of yahoo auctions in japan.

I bought a hks2530 only to realize once it was on my car that the bearings needed replacing :down:

Never heard back from the jap trader when i asked him about it...
