All the information is usefull.... but its a deregistered cefiro that me and my mate have got...its not going to be chasing the fastest of times at the strip...its a car that me and him can take to the friday night drags and have some fun...becuase it cant exactly get street legal here in NZ.

I just wanted to do somthing that "i" thought would be cool...but was wondering about the performance etc because i still want a fast car!

and about the gt3040....its the turbo i have sitting in my shed...i dont have a couple of grand to spend on a new one...but the gt3040 can still get the job done. that brumby is pretty much what i was going for but just wanted some advice

cheers

Sup ,

I think it would give the car character  and also raise the chances of blowing a comp wheel from someshit getting stuk in it lmaoooo

(BITCH TIME)

Im also slowly starting to get sick of idiots giving shit to people who are "modifying" their cars.. mostly these people giving shit because they cant afford to do it them selves but honestly ... its becoming a joke u cant post anything on this forum with respect to doing some fun mods without being hounded by 50 year old jaguar enthusiasts who are STRICT on keeping their car FACTORY because all the smart engineers built the cars that way for a reason!!! ITS HIGH FOR A REASON ITS GOT BODY ROLL FOR A REASON BLA BLA BLA PUT SOME BLODDY COILOVERS ON IT N SHUT UR MOUTH sorry im just angry lol venting...etc.. what im saying is.. MOST of Nissans profits are from the modification aspect to their performance cars.. reason they dont put fkn heavyduty clutches in their cars.. COZ THEY KNOW they gona be profiting from all the clutch manufactures making HD clutches for their cars... hence u drop a patch and u need a new clutch... woah massive bitch ok im over it...

night boys

Couldn't agree more. If humans never considered a few dumb/off-centre/left-field ideas, where would we be? Good on him for thinking about something. Leave the boy alone!

(and so WHAT if someone wants to do something for looks. Looks is okay.)

No disrespect but you think Nissan make money on companies like Exedy, HKS, Blitz etc making clutches on their cars? You honestly think Nissan don't do something to a car because there plan is the car will be modified and some how they will make "MOST" of thier profits this way? So Nissan didn't put a $3000 triple plate carbon clutch into your R32 GTS4 not beacuse it would make no sense to do so on a car rated at 140kw, but because they knew you would modify it, go out and buy a super expensive 800HP clutch and this in turn would make them money?

I think you need to do a bit more research on the construction/engineering aspect of designing something.

R.I.P.S in NZ have built an r34 drag car with the turbo half sticking out of the bonnet and have a duct that goes directly to the turbo inlet, you can see the turbo, its like right there spinning away... These guys have built a fair few cars and mostly drag, so they might know what they are doing...

i got a spare fibreglass bonnet which i will be cutting into, and making like a ramp piece to guide air down to the inlet. its not my daily bonnet so just something to do at the drags.

Instead of running a pod, the other option like i have seen fairly often is a strong mesh cover over the inlet so it will stop most large-ish things getting in.
