there are silvia scenesters? LOL

niche crossover segment. they need to have all the freshest accessories for their car, usually straight out of japan for bonus bragging rights that no one in oz has it yet. they're usually asians.

bags n vanners go hand in hand. pity about the povo brand wheels tho, not good VIP form, but I suppose vanning is a different community to VIP modders.

True!

i swear if shan whinges about the fitment on this one i'm gonna stab the nigga

(same goes for telling us matte black is sooo *insetrt year here*)

LOL!

Fcuk I love that S13 and if I had it I would paint the roll cage red, that's just me though... Black car Red roll cage.

no complaints here... needs less BN though and more instant gentleman

that shit would blow my mind with an instant gentleman kit. BN kit that fits like horse penii in a midget vaj = only slightly impressed.

Instant Gentleman looks nice and I like both Streamline (Instant Gentleman) and Aggressive (BN Sports.)

GT Rodeo kits are what scenester fuck-knuckles put on their cars just so they can say "omg, its not a supermade kit bro, its a TRA Kyoto kit, get with the times". Its about as subtle a difference as a URAS kit from a BN kit. Who. Gives. A. Fuck? Either way you're rocking a body style that's a blast from the 80's.

GT Rodeo = TRA Kyoto kit bit with Bolt on metal plates :)

Still looks tuff.

Asian's drive Silvia's?

Most ppl who have S Chassis are white boys / wogs / currys...

Asians all love Honda's except the Asians on SAU / NS or any other forum that has nothing to do with Honda... :D

Yeah big generalisation but it's what I see.

Asian's drive Silvia's?

in QLD/NSW they do.

Their shit's usually on point too, good fitment, nice choice of wheels, relatively nice stance, tasteful mods. Drive around Brisbane for a week and you'll know what I mean.

Guys in melb have wicked awesome cars on the inside, but stockish outside, which is nice too. When guys in melbourne start aesthetically modding though, that's when the problem comes. They either do it well (hamish's car for example) or they go lebo spec ethnic candy colour with shitty wheels and badly fitted kits.

Yeah, your quite right too.

I do see a lot of candy sex spec shit rolling in Melbs or stockish looking Q's that are just boring.

A dime a dozen you do get decent S Chassis in Melb, just driving around but you also gota fish'em out at dyno days or NS meets or some SAU meets.

+ In Melb, ppl rolling in S15 convertibles, that Varietta shit, think its the hottest shit with chromies when it is an EPIC FAIL.

I saw 1 not too long ago and was terrible.

Should have bought a Turbo version.

Haha!

Would have no license now if I did :)

I will never be content with a Supra. MR2 turbo is the only car for me. Just gotta wait until I can afford to build my dream one. Just need about $30k...

So what did you buy the Supra for?

Should have sold the 300ZX, not buy the Supra, keep driving the MR2 N/A and save up till you had cash for the MR2 Turbo...

:(

The MR2 was about to die in the ass :) So I sold it off to some poor sucker for $3000 more than it was worth. Bought a Supra because they're reliable, 4-seater and a very ideal "P plate legal" car.

Almost bought a Skyline until I test drove it and it was slow as f*ck (R34 manual GT4).

Might keep the Supra long term as a daily. We'll see how cash flow goes.

that would be too logical and sensible a decision to come to. he's got mates to impress and girls to get moist. with an n/a supra. yeah. you heard right. don't go back and read it again.

    • I found the same with Subaru’s.  I own and love the SG9 Forester, after that model 2008+, Subaru threw the ugly stick at all their line up and somehow managed to make them look worse with every succeeding year.  lol
    • It's something we all have to consider as time marches on. Also consider lifted rally MX5 conversion at that point.
    • I should be fine for a few more years, whilst I do have arthritis I also exercise and do mobility training every day to keep as fit and healthy as I can, military life, which is the actual cause of most of my joint issues, has set daily regimes, which I weirdly enjoy I also train alot smarter now, not really focusing on lots strength or puffy muscles, I'm more focused on maintaining what I have for my future older self, I actually train as much mobility now as I do exercising Check out this "simple" drill I have been doing daily prior to training now for a while now, this has worked wonders in my all round mobility
    • I'd say one thing that may make you sell is the same reason the guy with the hard top roof sold his. He got old, and his back was giving him too much grief stopping him getting in and out... Old guy said he was 73! He looked and sounded younger than 73 to me! Or maybe I'm just aligning with old people more...
    • Already looked at a few prior to getting the MX5, really nice car, had all the mod cons, but I wasn't really sold on the new "look" I did miss my 2017 Limited, and I personally prefer the "look" of the older car over the new model, but, when pondering I kept going back looking at MX5's But it was same same for the new ND's, I wasn't sold on the new "look", especially the RF with its weird roof, which only half goes down, like a targa top sort of thing As I stated before, I did look at NC's, but the cars I looked at were PRHT's, but I didn't like their roof line "look" of the PRHT, until I saw the soft top version, (someone on SAU posted a for sale ad for one with a soft top that caught my attention, you can blame them for my choice.....🤣) and.... that old style detachable hard tops were available for them, which keeps the old MX5 more smoother flowing roof line, and the more rounded body style, similar to the NA-NB, to me, the arse end of the ND looks to "modern" Much like how I prefer the NC1 front bar, over the later models How long will I keep this car for is unknown, but currently, there's nothing else out there that "floats my boat" for a small, fun, little "sports car", that I can play with and enjoy looking at and driving But, who knows what the future holds, and going off current new car styling, if I replace it, it will be a older model something something
