Lol evidence that everytime we go for a cruise (not that you come to any anymore because your too busy painting your nails or something) your always behind and we have to wait for you. I have never seen you put your foot down. Lol hmm last time I went to deca (wasn't driving my car tho) was last year. Drove chads r32 and surprisingly beat basti on the skidpan even though it was my first try. So don't be getting all high and mighty mr track car r32 that You drive as a daily (lol)

For one, I have never cruised with you so you might want to double check your info.

Second, I dont need to prove to you or anyone anything on public roads, thats what the track/motorkhana is for and not the public streets.

Third, (echoing Shan now?) I justify any modifications to my car for the purpose of helping on the track, if the car is a daily so be it. The difference is I have a goal which makes use of each modification instead of wanking off to a dyno sheet.

Hopefully you will soon realise that your car has more potential than a dyno queen but it might involve spending money on other parts of the car. God forbid it to be classified as a daily track car when suspension and cooling is modified

Yeah haven't seen Pat for a while, probably at the last dyno day...

Pat you coming to RE Customs this Friday?

unfortunately no, injectors arrived today and waiting for more parts to arrive from the states.

It wasnt initially, its however (attempted)? to have been transplanted with bog stock everything (i.e, stock ecu, stock RB25det neo, looms from the GTT engine etc), except it all doesn't want to play nice. I was under the impression it would be easy to do so, so I agreed to it. Remember, I'm not mechanically minded at all (f**k, only had the car 2 months in my actual possession since I bought it about a year ago), so when a very well regarded places recommends replacing the entire engine with a stock one, with stock everything else to get it going it sounds drastic but I trusted that judgement. Obviously if I could go back in time, a lot of people would have made some very different decisions.

you should sell it and buy my r34 gtt, it has the mv automatics shift kit in it, also ill throw in the stall converter and only for $15,000, but wait theres more, ill also throw in a new sony stereo head unit plus another whole r34 auto transmission if you want it for some reason  .

had a couple of books left for me on my desk when I walked in today

Quite possibly THE most hilarious cookbook ever written...

Chuck Norris fact books... I've got the first one at home so the girls in marketing figured I'd want the rest of the set.

lol everybody who saw that cookbook wants it! it's fuckin awesome, the recipies are even better... like "Supafry Chicken", "Simple Ass Mozerella Salad" and "Your ribs is too short to box with god".

Lotsa chicken recipies too. I'm gonna have to try some of this shit.

Better quality than Australia :P Ever heard of RPM Garage? Have built up a good friendship with the owner and get fair discounts. All his wrecks seem to be in immaculate condition. You wouldn't even know half these parts are used!

Toyota in Hong Kong is also a lot cheaper than Australia :P Locally they wanted almost a grand for new tail lights lol. I got them for like $250.

And Toyrolla wanted $1000 for USED (faded as f*ck) tail lights. LOL.

But yeah... Got all new interior plastics, 1997 door trims, leather console, new clear indicators and kouki tail lights :D

Will keep me busy for a while.

    • 49719 is the cooler loop. Right at the front, LHS of that diagram. Return line from rack (LP side) goes to cooler loop on RHS front of car, then back under engine and returns to bottom of tank. 49717M is feed from tank to pump. HP line out of pump is thick rubber, followed by the hard line that runs down to crossmember and runs in parallel (but opposite flow direction) to the LP return line. Nothing goes anywhere near the firewall or interior of car. The closest they get to that is the connections on the rack.
    • Thanks, plan is to drain all fluid tomorrow and do smoke test to find out the leak.   Appreciate your help and want to understand how the system work. So cooling is achieved by the long loop not any rad? The diagram seems to suggest it connects to somewhere inside the cabin and I thought that is a cooler inside firewall. If you look at the diagram it seems to show it connects to something inside firewall. I tried chasing it but not easy unless I take loads off   i am confident pump is good as fluid goes in and it gets soft( steering) but as soon as I turn engine off , loads of bubble come to surface and overflow. When engine is on , fluid level is below minimum but when off it shoots off and thinking it is sucking air in. I suspect aluminium pipe may have a crack line or whole   smoke test with no fluid should be a good start and if needed will remove the pump   In addition, the one going under the engine bay is high pressure line and one directly connecting from pump to resorvoir is return/ low pressure?   finally I searched and suggestion is to use dexron 2 but that is discontinued so bought dexron 3 as all research suggest it is compatible and shouldn’t cause any issues/ blow seals. I bought two liter of dexron 3 motul atf
    • Don't worry about. Just don't try to drive hard enough to make boost and you'll be fine.
    • Yes. This has already been said. It is a loop of hardline in front of the radiator. Because.... the pump is on the LHS and the steering rack hydraulic connections are where they always are on a RHD steering rack....on the RHS. The high pressure line goes down under the engine, along the crossmember, like it does on all Skylines. Don't just throw expensive braided hoses/other kits at it. Work out what is wrong and fix that.
    • Still got the afm on the intake, clamps are shut tight, only loose hose is the one that goes from the j pipe towards the IACV, since it's next to impossible to find a factory hose and the barbs are different sizes (I'm still using clamps on this hose to try and help it seal on the iacv side) I've ordered parts to make up the hotside of the intercooler pipes, I'll plumb it in and see what happens in a few days I suppose The turbo's internally gated, can I just unscrew the tension rod to let the gate open?
