yeh it does man, i been in heaps of euro cars and really they are a class above, having said that the price you pay well thats what you have to look at. Give me a bmw anyday the quality is top notch reliable nice to drive a good solid car. No reall competitors out of japan other than lexus, good car but not in the same level as bmw/merc imo. (yeh i own a lexus before anyone says anything)

Pretty much applied for em all. Had an interview with elecraft but didn't get it, Stowe sent a letter saying no. Not sure what these dream boats are looking for when my AVERAGE mark for my pre app was over 96% across 14 modules ..

euro's are shit till you get mega expensive.... jap cars are always better bang for buck and that's the problem (when you buy them over here)

it's no good saying a 200k car is better than an 100k car

of course a c63 is better than a lexus ... (LSF would be pretty sweet tho)

go on an m3 forum and see how many of em actually get their cars repaired/serviced at mechanics/dealers. just coz its euro doesnt make it any harder to work on than a jap.

negative. For example, take base model poverty shit like Toyota Corollas vs VW Golfs or Citroen C4s. The difference in quality is quite staggering. Spec wise they're similar, but it's the way it all fits together, the lack of creaks, the fact that they don't feel plasticy (even though they are, simply because they use a thicker material) the way the engine idles, the lack of in cabin noise and vibrations, etc. Then there's the cool shit that's a result of forward planning... like if you walk out of range of the transponder the windows can be wound up and doors automatically locked. This is something that's controlled by the ECU and every dealer can flash the ECU for you with pre-programmed functions on a single bus electrical system. Good luck getting that done on any japanese car with its 11ty billion wires, gameboy spec ECU etc.

Euros are more exxy, but that's because of tarded australian dealers. Compare a Scirocco R vs Honda Civic Type R, same price, both imports, same purpose and target market. The Scirocco is leagues ahead of the Civic.
