Guys - some feedback needed

http://www.skylinesa...ou-like-to-see/

SAU-Vic will be having a night/day with these guys soon.

So stick some feedback in there for them to give an idea, it'll be in feb or march once i get it organised :D

Members only?

Coz I would REALLY like to attend that!

Yeah no idea...Not many people are in a position to buy a house cash anyway so don't think it's much of an issue.

I'd say that if you won a shitload through the lottery etc, then paying cash wouldn't be an issue as you have it there and then, and probably have a shit load more to spare after paying for the house...But in Virgin boys case, if he were to save up to pay cash for a house, in the time it'd take him to save up the money the price of houses/land would probably have doubled, so a loan as soon as you can afford it is the smarter option

Yea I know what your saying. I can't justify a loan for a car or stuff like that. But a house I would take out a loan no problems.

I think douchebag will be saving whilst living at home then be ableto buy a house at the age of 60 lol

The way I see it, I sold my car to have an even bigger deposit than I already did for a house...For now I'm driving a heap of shit, which is fine with me.

In time I should be able to get an even better car than I had before...

i am in if this happens...love to learn more about detailing the car as its starting to need attention :P...

if you know what you're doing and what you're looking at, you'd take out a loan for the house you wanna live in

use your own money/savings to buy a few properties and make money off em. then with the profit you can pay most/all of your loan off

you'll get backe most/all of your savings and you'll have a brand new house with no debt

Something doesnt sound right with your maths there

missed the plus as in over 20k?

20k and over was 7.2% in June 09 when I bought the r. Car itself was 24500, paid 688 On onroads including reg as deposit in cash. Plus loan insurance in case I lose my job they will pay that off the loan to take pressure off of me to pay. Plus I can pay however much I want above the minimum and they Leave me alone so long as I don't miss a payment by too long. Let's say my loan was closer to 30 and it's now a good way below 20.

My car used to be worth that much :P only lost 3k so no biggie...

I love how people say 'buy a few properties' like it's nothing. Either your parents are rich and you're well taken care of, hence not knowing the value of a dollar, or you just have no idea what you're talking about..

You do realize that even if you did want to do what you said, no bank is going to give you a 100% loan for 1 house, so that you can use your savings for the 'few properties' you plan to buy with your savings, which you'd want to be in excess of $2-300k...

Yerh I got it but I still think your calculations are wrong you will pY more than 3G interest on an approx 25k loan even with extra repayments what's in it for the bank to lend you 25k to get 28k back...Not at home cNt look into it but I think you will pay at least 5k

Ya I been reading and holding back from commenting a few ppl seem to not know what they are talking about

you were talking about paying cash for a house, if you have enough cash to pay for a house then you can easily afford a few properties using the same money

im no expert, but i know of people who have done exactly that. a family friend being 1 of em, but instead of a few different properties he just bought 1 massive piece for 300K (got lucky) in South Morang, built 12 units in it and easily made $1 mill just in profit. like i said if you know what you're doing and what to look for and where to look for then it can be done, easier for some than others

lol @ taking out loans to buy cars

in other news, does anyone elses car start to overheat after having the aircon on for a while on a really hot day?

Meh, I took out loans for both the Skyline and Cube, there's no problems if you have the ability to pay it off fairly quickly.

And no, your car should not overheat with the air-con on. If it does there's something wrong with your cooling system.
