im all for 1080p but currently dont have all those movies on DVD and dont have the diskspace

once i get my qnapp and some 2TBs then i can continue hunting more higher quality rips

but i ripped die hard 3 from dvd and the source was only 720p so i cant even rip it to 1080

all mine are 1080p lol, i should do an inventory, i must have at least 100-150 by now, maybe more

yeah thats the prob with only that level of quality, not many avail

and i gotten a heap of old movies that i simpy cant find in decent quality so you have to be stuck with 700mb divx's sometimes

yeah but gotta work out what's available being a new estate etc...it's just inside the exchange which is around the corner from where I live now, so TPG etc won't guarantee speeds.....It might still be fine, and being ADSL2 even 'slow' would probably be quicker than normal ADSL, but it's not like you can try before you buy..
