My experience with bank cheques is 3 business days for the funds to clear, same as a normal cheque

but then.. sigh.. stud road on way home, yep hwy patrol 2 women actually RBT (0.00), thought my car was low, checked tyres, and made me rev exhaust and said no worries gave license back nice enough people, just hope I dont get another EPA in the mail.

There are no clearance favours when it comes to bank cheques. Just because you spend up to $10 buying one and you need cleared funds to get one doesn't mean they're treated like cash.

I'll have a word to my cop mate and see what he thinks I should do. Just to get it down to a minor and no fine (got receipts for car just getting out of shop that day after heaps of suspension repairs)
