alr33x sgoin on bru

Haha!

(00) SKYLINE (00) nothing bru you?

Yes. I agreed on a reduced price when before they came out to see it. They drove it, loved it, and couldn't fault it. They even said "you're asking a very fair price." They wanted me to knock a further $500 which is part of what they'll pay in transfer fee's. I'm sorry, but it's not my problem if they've never bought privately before and didn't realise there was fee's involved to get it into their name, I'm not footing the bill for it. If they go ahead and buy it I'll be up for about ~$500 to get it roadworthy as I promised I'd put brand new front tyres on it.

So yes, I sent them away over $500. My price is my price. They said they'll call me in two days. They liked it too much and have been searching for 2 years for a car like mine and have come across none in such good condition for the price. They'll be back.

i hope so for your sake time will tell

I dont like people that come and look at your car for sale, and say they been looking for like a year its like nothing is good enough for them and they want to find a 100% perfect show room condition car from the 90s and expect the price to be the same as every other car.

Also don't like when you ask "looked at many cars?" And they respond by saying yeah - been looking at (insert 15 different cars here) its like they don't know what they want and just seems like a waste of time. This is only my personal experience though. Especially when some of the cars on the list are 10k and some are 50k + :whistling:

i put up with that shit every single day

hahah i pissed off so many real estate agents when trying to find a place. In the end they told me I was dreaming for the size of property I was after for my budget. Ended up finding something for the price and size i wanted. gtfo dont tell me what i can/cannot buy

You could have just agreed to write a lower value on the transfer form and save them the $500 there...

on another note; Topgear live was shit. Topgear has become too commercial and mainstream. With too many dropkicks wearing Stig shirts and whole families following the bandwagon.

Topgear = sold out, skimp on all the technical info cause its "boring".

Fifth Gear for life!

What took you so long to realise that.?

Ever since they moved on from SBS to Ch9 = Sell out.

    • I found the same with Subaru’s.  I own and love the SG9 Forester, after that model 2008+, Subaru threw the ugly stick at all their line up and somehow managed to make them look worse with every succeeding year.  lol
    • It's something we all have to consider as time marches on. Also consider lifted rally MX5 conversion at that point.
    • I should be fine for a few more years, whilst I do have arthritis I also exercise and do mobility training every day to keep as fit and healthy as I can, military life, which is the actual cause of most of my joint issues, has set daily regimes, which I weirdly enjoy I also train alot smarter now, not really focusing on lots strength or puffy muscles, I'm more focused on maintaining what I have for my future older self, I actually train as much mobility now as I do exercising Check out this "simple" drill I have been doing daily prior to training now for a while now, this has worked wonders in my all round mobility
    • I'd say one thing that may make you sell is the same reason the guy with the hard top roof sold his. He got old, and his back was giving him too much grief stopping him getting in and out... Old guy said he was 73! He looked and sounded younger than 73 to me! Or maybe I'm just aligning with old people more...
    • Already looked at a few prior to getting the MX5, really nice car, had all the mod cons, but I wasn't really sold on the new "look" I did miss my 2017 Limited, and I personally prefer the "look" of the older car over the new model, but, when pondering I kept going back looking at MX5's But it was same same for the new ND's, I wasn't sold on the new "look", especially the RF with its weird roof, which only half goes down, like a targa top sort of thing As I stated before, I did look at NC's, but the cars I looked at were PRHT's, but I didn't like their roof line "look" of the PRHT, until I saw the soft top version, (someone on SAU posted a for sale ad for one with a soft top that caught my attention, you can blame them for my choice.....🤣) and.... that old style detachable hard tops were available for them, which keeps the old MX5 more smoother flowing roof line, and the more rounded body style, similar to the NA-NB, to me, the arse end of the ND looks to "modern" Much like how I prefer the NC1 front bar, over the later models How long will I keep this car for is unknown, but currently, there's nothing else out there that "floats my boat" for a small, fun, little "sports car", that I can play with and enjoy looking at and driving But, who knows what the future holds, and going off current new car styling, if I replace it, it will be a older model something something
