Nah, its not that bad. lol.

You're joking yeah? You're not actually considering that as an actual option are you?

Don't mean to offend you, but it's a 33 GTS-T, it's not something rare. Why the f**k would you even consider having ~$10k sitting there for a few years to one day, maybe, turn it into a track car when you come back...

But I'm sure you were just joking, because any half wit would understand that parking $10k in a garage for 3 years to maybe turn it into a track car is the most ludicrous thought one could have. That same half wit would know that $10k in your bank account when heading overseas is far more beneficial than a $10k garage ornament that will be worth $3k when you get back to turn it into a track car, losing ~$7k worth of potential track mods in the process.

Tough decision though..

You went a bit over the top there don't you think bloke?

The car might not be particularly special to anyone else, but it is to me. That's all.

I'm trying so hard to get a taste for it, but I just can't lol. I think it's an 'aquired taste?

I don't really have a taste for them either. Also depends on which red wines you been trying. Some are great and some I think are shit. Best ones to try would be the soft reds such as a merlot or Shiraz that aren't too dry.

I concur with Dezz on this...

Put the 10k into an account mate.

Lock it up for 3 years - same as you would with a car.

Come home and pay off some of the epic debt you'll accrue whilst overseas, or come back and really build a proper track car.

Whilst a car is special to one and so on, end of the day sometimes you just have to make the decision to cut it away.

I've been having sleepless nights lately over the GTR and keeping or selling & buying a place with my brother. It'll be 3-4 years longer if i keep the car simply because I cant have a 360rwkw GTR sitting there and not take it to the track. Then if i bust a motor etc... fk...

Only problem is selling will effectively castrate me having to drive around in a mid 90's commo or ford. Cheap and stuff but just depressing.

Decisions decisions... What life is all about. The tough ones are hard for a reason but once made, in the long run its better for you.

I don't think I went over the top at all...At the end of the day it's a car, and unless you've spent a shit load of money customizing it etc, chances are you'll be able to pick up a 33 gts-t for about $3-4k when you come back, and make it just as 'special' is.

Cheers fellas, Selling it is definitely the right thing to do. Sigh.

the upside is that you can potentially do it all over again and avoid any mistakes you made the first time...

like buying an R33.

I was actually at a high school yesterday with a massive group of girls wanting my autograph and photos with me... :P Gotta love being a muso.

But no, I didn't do anything.. Otherwise I probably would have been locked up haha
