i just use 3.5mm to 3.5mm cable from ipod/iphone into sony headunit which came in my car.. put ipod/iphone in the drink holder :P

id like something a bit better also - blue-tooth seems pretty cool considering wireless hands free.. instead of some stupid phone holder

but i id rather buy decent car parts than audio stuff really >,<

Bob dylan could never sing for shit, but all the hippies were too stoned to care..But by the time they realized it, they had somehow made him cool

I got bored of xd9s, became to common for me... The enkei's aren't too much bigger that what the xd9s were.

Sporty enough?

Got an am/fm radio in my car

And a radio transmitter thing to plug into my iPhone for some scratchy quality tunes through 107.9

Boom

And sways are probably one of the best value suspension mods, especially on a 33. When I get home from work I'll try dig up the super body roll photos of my car at drift for dummies when it had the stock sways in

bluetooth integration bitches

That would be convenient. With using for phones I don't think my iPhone 1 has ever worked it's bluetooth properly.

In the Skyline I had an FM transmitter for $40 from JB that worked perfectly with my iPhone, now I just have a direct Aux cable in the ute. That one could have been designed a little better for handling but does the job.

$40 for an FM transmitter?

Got mine for $7 off eBay...

They're hit and miss, I've had things fall apart off eBay defeating the purpose entirely. I was happy to pay for known quality, my music is important.

I shaved my aerial coz I never listened to the radio. Now I want to listen to the radio, lol fail. Gonna get me one of those receiver strips that goes on the back window or something.

My $7 one works perfectly and charges my phone at he same time. So did the 2 my mate bought. Only reason it's sometimes scratchy (very minimal) is coz of my coat hanger aerial.

My mare paid $50 for an AUX cable and it doesn't even charge his phone

    • Welcome.  Glad to hear that you have gained some knowledge that has helped you. I believe the only fix for the power steer belt is an electric conversion with a Holden astra pump. If you get a chance, post pics of your car, please. 🙂
    • Just ordered those bosses, hopefully that does the trick thank you very much everyone for your replies it's really appreciated
    • to have this type of adjustment possible with a curve as I wish, what budget (engine) should be planned?
    • People still have Skylines? I thought they're non-existent now.
    • Harness update time have had great fun and learnt so much already so far with this project. I started off making both the ignition and injector sub harnesses in the hope any mistakes i made here aren't as hard to undo and learn from as the main harness.  A cool comparison of the old harness using presumably TXL wire and the new which is using Tezel. Also opted to use DTM plugs to keep the whole setup as neat and tidy as possible and tucked the wiring under the coil bracket to try and keep it all from sticking out too much. Although the injector harness, I'm not overly happy with as I'm still using the rubber boots that are supplied with the type of plugs it just looks ugly and sticks out like a sore thumb with the white identifiers so a slight redesign may be done.   Then it was main harness time and most importantly trying to route it nice and away from the heat it will use the OEM heater hose routing which is no longer present to keep the harness up high and secure. it's amazing how much smaller this harness is able to be compared to the old one. plugged everything into the emtron and with the help of the tuner again attempted to start it up and instantly fired up and running smoothly on all 6 which was a big shock to myself. So still some routing and adjusting to be done for the final fit up and installing a knock sensor harness plug which is in the post all has gone surprisingly well.     The old harness for shits and giggles.
