I picked up my 32r just before xmas for 18.5 landed complied onroad, And its clean as a whistle :) just very very minor mods but if you want to build it up yourself then the initial purchase isn't going to break the bank too badly.

I've started to consider 33 GTRs myself. I've found that most of them are actually cheaper than 32s! At least on the JSPEC featured list.

It would have to be black though. Was never the biggest fan of 33s but in black they look quite acceptable.

There's a wingless one for like 17k landed and complied.

Anyone know what a 34 GTR wing would look like on a 33?

thats because Japanese prefer 32s :)

BOOM. Perfect timing (just taken a deposit on my ZX, getting $7k for it).

Will do all the necessary checks. If all is good then that will be in my driveway in 3 weeks.

Don't even need to sell my Supra to afford it :)

$7500 is a steal...

I would sell it. Then I might consider buying a daily.. but that MR2 isn't exactly cop bait. Looks stock as a rock, including exhaust.

We will see...

I'll ring the seller soon and see if I can arrange a test drive for Monday.

lol respray and head/turbo recondition... so the dude's crashed it AND blown the engine/turbo.

that car's had an easy life.

but it's been "Always be garaged . No Damage."

baaaaaargain.

if this dude's an international student like he's makin out to be, then vice clamp his nuts and squeeze him on price for trying to pass off a car that's had a rough life as a minter.

Don't presume the worst all the time Shan :)

Respray to me = The paint faded over the last 18 years. Full respray to freshen it up.

Head/turbo condition = Yeah, maybe he has blown the turbo.. But it has a new one now so it's all good? I fail to see a problem.

It's gotta be a 32R Dezz and you know it! Such a tough road stance. I love a R34 GTR as well... but there is always something about a R32 that just makes you go "mmm"

You'll pay through the nose for a clean one though is the only issue :ermm:

True that.

haha i tagged you in it ages ago

That looks mad!

Yeah I saw a few of the better known 32 GTR's for sale not long ago...Archie's I think was up there...all asking big coin, but pretty much everything done...Still, there's 33's going for similar money with all the fruit as well.

That looks decent, apart from the color which I'm not a big fan of...

If I did go the 32 route, and chose a modified one, a forged rebuild at a reputable workshop would be high on the list of already done mod priorities..

I have seen that car at a SAU Meet up back in 2008.

Very clean and the conditions looks very good.

It would look absolutely terrible!

GTR's should stick to their stock spoilers and nothing else.

There maybe a few exceptions with aftermarket / bodykit designed spoilers, but stock still wins over all.

Gay, I thought you were looking at something decent but it just an mr2

If I get it, race me through the twisties :ermm: Then we'll see who's laughing when I beat you and walk away with all the change I've got from the $7500 asking price.

..This is all assuming that your car is fairly stock performance/handling wise. If not, ignore the above :)

Lol dw jerermy would need to learn how to drive properly first :)

I'm improving bro! ..Not that there was anything wrong with my driving before :ermm:

And yeah blags, just ignore me. I just start mouthing off when anyone hangs shit on MR2s ;) It's a reflex.

    • Racetronix also sells those ethanol content sensor bypass blocks. Adapter, Flex-Fuel E85 Sensor High-Flow Bypass, In-line No Sensor (ADF-FLEX-NS): Adapters - Flex Fuel | Racetronix Ethanol content sensor are originally designed to be on the feed line. These bypass blocks are meant to be ran in the feed line and not return. The continental ethanol content sensors have a 3/8" ID and not 5/16". This is why they are ran on the return line directly in conjunction with a low threshold sampling value VS in the feed with one of these blocks.    Haha we think alike, I used both original feed/return for 8AN feed, and one of the Hicas lines as a 6AN return. I also capped off and left the other Hicas line as a spare.
    • Interesting, I haven't read about the issue with oil getting into the speedo in the cluster before. I'll have to take more notice with mine. The speedo on my R32's when I've run factory diff and tyre size have never been accurate as far as I can remember. The non Type-M GTS-t did come with 15" 5 stud wheels and smaller brakes, but that's less than 5% of them.
    • Good to hear the condenser you picked up off my brother worked all good. Do you think there could be an issue with your AC compressor itself or the clutch on it then? I don't know a lot about them so I can't really help but keen to hear what it ends up being. Keep the build thread going man, it's nice to look back on over time.
