krzysiu
Ran outta cash? Super streets are the cheapest ones u can buy in the tein range. You can't argue with that Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/310874-vic-wasteland-thread/page/627/#findComment-5538790 Share on other sites
THR34T
shan would know this. alot of coilovers are the fkn same. different label "different coilover" same parts n shit used inside just like BC coilovers/G4 racing. etc etc all the same shit. no doubt teins SS are the same Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/310874-vic-wasteland-thread/page/627/#findComment-5538798 Share on other sites
HEKT1K
Yeah you're right Kris. I was going to buy a Gallardo, but seeing as they are the cheapest Lamborghini you can buy, I should just stick to my GTS-t (at least it's not an auto NA amiright) Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/310874-vic-wasteland-thread/page/627/#findComment-5538805 Share on other sites
scotty014
fair enough they might be the cheapest in the range but that doesnt mean they are bad for what they are used for, they are aimed at street use and occasional track days and seem to work fine for the hi-octane r32 gtr considering they won some targa events etc. with them. while the rest of the tein range is aimed at track use so of course they will cost more. its like saying dont buy that ford focus because the xr5 turbo is way better than it. there both from the same company but aiming at something different. krzysiu
No no not saying they are bad. Never said that. Just saying you can have the same type of coilovers here in aus (with a warranty) for much cheaper. HEKT1K
Thing is I've been stung too many times with 2nd hand / cheap non-Jap stuff. the BC BR are only $500 less, probably not enough to sway my decision at this stage. Almost understeered off the rd was it nick lol, that would of been scary, i hate the feel of understeer. so gtr's should understeer than or are they a bit different because there not always 4wd like evo's and subaru's. krzysiu
If you want to fix your understeer purchase some sway bars and adjust them to when ur happy with the handling. scotty014
thats the thing, i was expecting understeer but get oversteer instead. im not complaining i prefer over than under was just wondering if thats what most gtr's do. krzysiu
Most gtr's understeer haha. Mohsen
but isnt it tricky in GTRs becauce of the attesa? so it drives around like a RWD but goes all awd n shit when the sensors feel the back end stepping out n shit Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/310874-vic-wasteland-thread/page/627/#findComment-5538970 Share on other sites
