would fkn hit

I am a massive R32 sedan addict (I have 3) but I have to say R33 series 2 sedans are pimpalicious.

In other news I cleaned AAC, AFM, Air Regulator, replaced vacuum lines, removed horrific boost gauge vacuum lines, replaced PCV hoses that were rooted, reset ECU.. and now the RB20 is running like a dream :D. One of those things you kick yourself for not doing sooner.

Want to do mine?

applications for that snr mgr position closed yesterday

time will tell

Good luck, let us know how you go.

if the dude selling the pfc in the vic section is legit, it's a steal. $600 for pfc (no controller) with 4 33 stockies with tires..

cheap cheap

Where? Wouldn't mind 'collecting' parts now...

Hamish that looks sick!!

Went to a few dealers today, one of which ha a black s1 r33, manual.

My car + 1k. ThInking about going it...

Gives me something with hotplates to drive on the cruisee..

Right sides been keyed though

Ooooooh, I want to do that same thing to my skyline. What kind of difference did it make? How long did it take to do? Did the hoses etc cost much? Sorry for the rude questions, just curious.

cleaned AAC - guide in DIY is very good and time estimate a bit longer than it took me.

AFM - I'm tossing up doing this -> http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/113284-fixing-your-rb26-afms/page__hl__afm just for kicks, but a lot of work and the possibility of stuffing up water proofing. I just sprayed it down with MAF. Everyone should do this.

Air Regulator - DIY Guide makes it sound tough, piece of piss really, mine wasn't bad though.. I suspect this only really needs to be done if you suddenly get issues with high idle.

replaced vacuum lines - I didn't do the preshaped wide stuff as that was all in good shape, I only did the narrow 1.5ish mm lines.. 10 minutes work. My lines were all cracking. Made a _Massive_ difference and I suspect was the reason for the stalls. Car is still relearning tune and auto shift points after this and just keeps getting better. Everyone should do this.

removed horrific boost gauge vacuum lines - ya. who would have thought just pushing the line inside a t piece with no effort to seal it would cause problems.. really wished I had noticed this before :).

replaced PCV hoses - Nissan wanted 40 bucks for the line I needed, stuff that.. transmission hose from pirtek fit perfectly and cost me nothing cause it was lying around... I think it would have been worth over 1 dollar if I bought it :P.

reset ECU - complete waste of time unless you want to go through the relearn process or need to for something like idle fiddling.

Should also mention, I read somewhere during my trawling for servicing info, a note about always spraying nissan plugs with MAF cleaner if you unplug them.. I have started doing this and it seems to be a very good idea. I think a few plugs were pretty flaky such as into the back of the AAC.
