Hey all, got an issue at the moment & I am lost! Done a search but I can't find anything about a similar problem so here goes:

In 1st or 2nd, I can drive the car normally & change gears fine, no problems. But if I put my foot down & the power comes up, the gearstick itself moves towards the right (but it stays in gear). It's worse/more obvious in 1st than 2nd, and in 3rd there is vibration that you can feel.

I've mentioned this to a few people & they have all said gearbox mount first off, I've had a look underneath & can't seen anything obvious though. Probably should have done it while I was under but I'm going to put a jack under the box & take the mount off, maybe it will be like the engine mounts in my old 33 that looked ok but as soon as the engine was lifted they both split in 2 & fell to the ground :D

Of course I'm worried it's a sign that the gearbox is telling me it's time to start saving, but I'm also very hopeful it's a simple solution! Any ideas will be appreciated but here's some other notes:

* Car off/neutral, you can move through all the gears fine

* No grinding going to any gears

* Only really happens if I'm not driving slowly

* I'm confused as hell
