iam replacing the rb20det in my cefiro with a rb30et can i use the existing wiring loom or do i have to use the rb30 loom what is the easiest way

easier to use the RB30 loom as the 30 uses a single coil and distributor style arrangement and the 20 is a multi coil-on-plug setup.

better off fitting an RB25 twin cam than the single cam 30 anyway.

ok so il use rb30 loom

i would prefer a 25/30 but this vlt motor is pushing 200kw already so the 25 head can wait

what about the lights and the dash (speedo tacho temp guage and all that stuff)

do i have to worry about it ??

you could try and just do a straight engine swap and use all your rb20 loom and gear straight onto the rb30.

i think these are the guys who done it, they made an adapter to mount the cam sensor to the single cam head and delete the dizzy.

where are u located mate? ive got a guy lined up to do the wiring on my rb25/30 in2 a 180sx and he is gunna do it really cheap

well thanks for the info guys ive decided to go microtech instead was a lil more but well worth it
