R33 Gtr Suspension In R34 Gtt

hey guys

looking at getting coilovers which are from an R33 GTR to install in my R34 GTT. have read somewhere (cant remember) that it can be done. can anyone confirm if its a direct bolt up? if anyone has done it can you post up if you had any issues with it?

I tried some TEIN RA's for a 33 GTR in mine, they were WAY to stiff and couldnt go low enough.

From my research on this forum the R33 GTR rear shocks will fit on your R34 GT-T but the fronts will not. You need the front suspension from an R33 GTS-T.

Someone can confirm the second part though.

Hmmm I was looking at buying some 33 GTR shocks for my 34 GT-T but they might be too long as your saying.

R33 R34 GTR and R34 GT-t (turbo model only) Adjustable Coilovers are interchangable front and rear. Non-adjustable won't fit because they are differently lengths.

Thats what I thought too. Just spoke to some directory guy at Koni and he runs the R34 GTR rear koni shocks (8041-1339sport, same part number for R33 GTR) in his R34 GTT.

Although he might have stock height suspension i suppose, or hes just telling porkies.

Sounds like some GTR coilovers dont have enough height adjustment to compensate for the difference in length (as mentioned in another thread in this section).
