Hicas And Abs Problems

I have a few questions about HICAS and ABS

Car is R32 GTR

i have an aftermarket steering wheel with a hicas boss kit

sometimes my hicas light comes on under acceleration

i only noticed that this started happening when i put a bit extra power steering fluid in the resivior

its full at the moment, was wanting to know if the light comes on when the resiviour is too full??

i also have an ABS question, when staring the car with foot on the break is it normal for the ABS to vibrate the pedal, i dont remember it happening before?

hey mate,

well first for the hicas problem do a self hicas diagnostic test ( search it up on Google) its really simple. It will help you locate the problem

not so sure about the abs abs is just so the wheels lock up when u slam on the brake ( i could be wrong, thats what i thought they were used for) maybe fuses or brake lines

so they DON'T lock up, actually don't STAY locked up. The ABS module bleeds brake fluid pressure so the (locked up) wheels start to rotate again.
