Cd Player Cuts Out When Headlights Turned On

Hey guys, little problem has popped up of late in my X-trail.

Just happened out of nowhere the other night, i was driving along and suddenly my CD player cut out, mid-Jimmy Eat World.

Nothing else, lights didn't dim, didn't loose any voltage, (volt gauge still reads 14v).

Is this a symptom of a bad alternator? or is it more likely the CD player on the way out? FYI, its the stock 6 stacker that comes with my x-trail...

Wat do ya rekon could be the problem?

Hey Mate,

Try Checking all connections Espically Power Cable and the ground!

Yer mate check ur wiring cuz its probably creating a short circuit thru the head lights so have a look round those conections and ur ground
