I will be interstate otherwise I would have been there 100%!!

What..... How could you!?!?!

When i spoke to Rob on Saturday he said there were only 4 spots left, with a great mix of cars and power levels.

Sounds like it's going to be an awesome day!

I an planning to be there, but am "on call" for work. Hopefully it's a quiet Saturday :)

I will be there in the police car unless tied up with other things. Spoke to Rob today about it and he stated the obvious anyone misbehaving on the streets around there should and will be dealt with and I am clearly not going to harass anyone. Hope to see some nice cars put out some good numbers.

Can we dyno the police car?

yeah the 2 vl's were awesome the red one was a sleeper hard and the yellow one was very out there.

they were the 2 highest outputs by memory.

i think one was 700hp and the red one was 800hp i dont remember exactly i was there since 11.30 helping out and by 9.30 i was pretty wrecked haha

and that black r33 was f**king awesome it didnt put out huge numbers but i really liked the engine bay

Sounds like a good day, I sadly had to miss out because of work.

Did anyone see my car down there? It wasn't on the dyno though.. at least I hope not haha.

which one was urs mate???

there were 3 r34's out the front a white a black and a blue all next to each other.

BDD turned out friggin awesome!!

Great turn out of all sorts of cars, great stylez to

super powerful... Perfect mix, with somethin 4 everyone!

Went so smooth for a first time ever, NATIONWIDE DYNO DAY..

Brillant idea and hope u boys do it again cause I had a ball!

mightve been the same red vl i saw when at hallam kebabs a few weeks ago, came in washed his car and we were laughing cause it sounded like a clapped out vl with shit exhaust

once he washed it and took off, man that thing.... just WOW to explain it

Awesome turn out, some nice cars pulling great figures BUT man how long was the turn around time for each car, my grandma can dyno a car quicker.

9 Dynos running in turn, 2 minutes each dyno run, U do the math!!

The whole idea was to watch another dyno run somewhere else

in Aus. while each place gets ready 4 next run...

but each to his own!

Gunzla In all honesty no one was watching the interstate dyno runs/live feeds. People could not care less about them when they had a live dyno next to them and so many nice cars to admire on the premises. It would have worked if the live feeds were on suspended 50"+ plasmas or equivalent.

I was at the Melb one and the screens were tiny, not to mention you couldn't hear a damn thing most of the time. Who wants to watch a dyno run without sound? I glanced at the tv's a couple of times then gave up, there didn't seem to be much going on there either. I agree that it was a bit boring waiting so long between dyno runs, but I suppose you've got to do it right or not at all.

Like I said at the start, was great for a first effort!

Of course things could've been better and from what I've spoken to Rob at Sabbadin

about, he too knows that when they do it again or I should say

if they do it again, a few things will be different, "better!"

Now that the National things been done it's a lot easier to see where improvement

can be made..

    • I’ve got one on mine and it’s fine,
    • No, you don't want to plug the vacuum line, as that will turn that side of the booster into an air spring and probably make it feel worse. I'm not saying that the GTR master itself doesn't need a booster. I haven't paid attention to the GTR one to know what size it is cf the non-GTR ones. But when you think about it - they have to do the same job, which is to move a little slave piston a few mm to do what it is supposed to do, and that final action is the same on all the cars. So, it is very unlikely that the GTR MC is any different than the others, because it has the same pedal stroke and the same output requirement. The booster just makes it feel easier. I'd suggest you probably have an actual hydraulic problem. It's totally common on these old shitboxes.
    • Ye, in terms of bolting up the "Conversion" from a GT to a GTT is effectively "Use GTT parts for everything" Except the subframe itself, because you won't want a HICAS/4WS subframe. Remember your ABS system will be different too, thanks to GT being the S15 3 sensor system, instead of the R34 4 sensor system for wheel speed. I do not know how people get this to work given R34 diffs do not have a provision for an ABS sensor (they are on the tone wheels of the axles). I assume***** people use S15 gear/R34NA forever when they realize this - Or they convert it to a rear diff/axles that are R33 style which I presume has the singular speed sensor on the diff itself, but then you have to wire it all in and...and... and...
    • Foreshadowing was never so easy.
    • The ones in brackets are the first stages of tightening. I usually aim for the middle of the range. They give a range because it's actually not that critical to hit exactly the right bolt tension. Enough is enough, and too much is too much, and the range given is inside that range. Half of the bolts in the suspension are problematic for putting a torque wrench on anyway, so just get done up to mechanic tight  and spanner checked a week later.
