What cameras do we all have and what design programs do you use. Looking for some new ones to work with. Any suggestions?

What is a Design Program?

I have a Nikon D80 and I use the following software (roughly in order of use)

Lightroom - converting RAWs to JPGs and most editing

Photomatix - HDRs and exposure blending

Faststone - batch watermarking

Picasa - uploading

Photoshop - When merging two photos and fixing converging verticals

IrfanView - Viewing (also good for batch resizing)

PhotoMe - Viewing exifs

Hugin - want to get and learn how to use too

Nikon D300

Lightroom - same as Zennon, but i'll add its good for managing your pictures, not just converting.

Photomatix - same reason as Zennon.

Photoshop CS4 - Masking etc

Imagenomic Noiseware - cleaning up noise form the hdr process

Topaz suite - for sharpening details, making colours pop etc.

I make no secrets, i'm a shameless rip off of stuck in customs when it comes to choice of tools and methods.

Canon 50D/7D

Canon DPP - Great for High ISO files for the 7D

Canon Zoombrowser

Canon EOS Utility - Great for testing with remote live view off the computer as well as other features

Adobe Bridge - Great for maintaining/viewing RAW files

Adobe Lightroom - Great for maintaning/viewing RAW files as well as editing and organizing photos

Adobe Photoshop CS3 Extended - Pretty much my go to program for any kind of editing

Adobe Dreamweaver - Editing website details, otherwise Wordpress is used

Adobe Flash - Again, website and to make .SWF files for viewing

Adobe Illustrator - Used to design stuff that i want when i'm bored e.g. Vector images etc..

Photomatix Pro - HDR software

Noise Ninja - PS plug-in. Great software for noise reduction

Topaz Suite - Great Plug ins

Nik Software (all of it) great plugins for simple effects

Kubota Software - If i want to fake bokeh then i can

Totally Rad Actions (TRA) - All of them, great plugin, highly recommend this!

Loads and loads of textures - Great for masking and different effects with photos

Thats about it.

Nikon

GIMP - awesome free & open source image editing/processing program (think photoshop without hefty pricetag and a few less features)

Automator - For watermarking using...

Bash script i wrote that calls...

Image Magick (command line tool) - resizes, overlays watermark and thumbnails.

Photomatix - HDR images. But am starting to experiment with qtpfsui a free & open source HDR program.

Inkscape - awesome free & open source vector image creation program (think illustrator without hefty pricetag and a few less features)

The Fujifilm is the old camera and so I haven't started shooting too much with the D40x yet. Will be doing that very soon.

Still learning about a lot of it but I am starting to get into all of this. Make sure you take note of good tutorials on editing and you will be good to go.

I will be taking some things from this thread to try as well. Thanks guys.
