The Outsider
I think the others have summed it up pretty well, don't buy an autobahn88 turbo, even as a joke. I'm really only posting to get my count up. NSNPWR
I had a cooler kit on my last car from this Autobahn88, was an ADM S15 and had no issues with it, made same power as every other S15 (mod for mod) even if they had big $$$ coolers...buying a turbo off them however...hmmmm, bit different...fast moving parts and all that jazz.... boostn0199
When you consider how vital the turbo is to making the power in your engine why muck around and try go for shortcuts cause you will eventaly spit the dummy and change beacuse its shit, if you look for cheaper alternatives then use turbos such as hypergear since there are people on the forums using them and have had good results for the money spent Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/311640-autobahn88-turbo/#findComment-5130233 Share on other sites

The Bogan
hahaha, you post whore...ON topic: better off seeing what other people are running, have a look in the turbo result section He has asked the question here to which I replied, some China/cheap stuff is fine, its just a matter of finding a good one, speak to some workshops, they should be able to recommened a cheaper turbs, but if money is no object go a new garret as the technology of the cheap stuff is 10 yrs old and the new stuff is much more efficient. LANDSCRIBBLE
my vote is for a hypergear hiflow, great price and you get to keep the same turbo appearance so no cop troubles! hi, im curious as to how much it would cost to get one of these done, and what sort of gains/loss will i get? something along the lines of bigger power figures in the top end, but slightly more turbo lag? thanks.
