No doubt will be one of fastest cars out there on the day.

But to me it looks like the suspension is a bit too hard. Its drifting most corners and hopping all over the place.

But i guess thats why they call it testing.

A handful is an understatement. You even see Mark shaking his head just before he crosses the line.

Hopefully downforce and grip will be sorted in time.

Forgot to mention. Good video as always Andrew.

That is an Evil car...congrats..I hope it kicks the Japanese contingents butt !!

If it does it will give them an overdue wake up call !!

Does there come a time when no matter how well a car is setup the tyre size and type simply limits its capability's?

If the car was making over 600 prior to the E85 god only knows what its making now. We're talking nascar hp here on piddly little 265 semi slicks.

No disrespect to the tyre maker, they are obviously at the cutting edge as witnessed by what the giant team and others have achieved on them previously but there must come a time when the rest of the car is developed beyond what a "sunday race tyre" is capable of delivering.

Get it sorted and go out and take some names. You have a large fan base cheering you on and I'm one of them

I dont think its the tyres. Look at the vid and you can clearly see the 4wd system not working. When they get that problem sorted, then watch it haul ass. It will be a totally different car.

A lot of Japanese cars have big turbos, making them come on boost slower mid corner then hit on the straight. Believe it or not but gib single turbo cars get MORE traction, not less. 3-liter with little turbso and E85 make high 400kWs means a LOT of mid range torque. you can see as soon as he stands on it the torque means the car breaks traction.

With the 4WD system sorted it will be better. Its called testing for a reason....becuase they are testing stuff

Aerodynamically very untidy. Acts as an air brake or spoiler into the corner but when you need some angle of attack for downforce in the corner especially a high speed corner it starts to flatten out and the car loses down force , hence the skittish rear end , , though of course the big horse power is to blame as well. Many years ago in the late 60 / 70 when movable aero devices were still allowed in F1 ferrari did the same thing. The wing was operated by engine oil pressure . going fast , high oil pressure, flat wing, into corners revs drop angle of attack increases giving more downforce but since you are moving on the throttle all the time balancing the car the down force changing constantly in the corner making the car unbalanced. hope you get it to work cause it looks great
