ive never done it i should clarify but i think u just open the stock bov and block it off..

prepare yourself for a lot of dead pidgeon posts though

are u running a pod filter? if not its not gonna sound that great anyway, not to mention your spool time will be slower

go on google, you will find it, esspecially on vl turbo forums..

but the easiest way to do it. is unbolt your blow off valve, get that gasket and trace it onto a drink can then cut it out, then bolt up your blow off valve back to how it was.. only put that small bit of tin between the gasket and the blow off valve.. thats the way i done it, and occasioanly when i get bored i change it around.

Yeah I did this many many moons ago. Good ol Coke can gasket, along with upgraded intercooler and pod filter.

Good for giggles for a week or 2. Got old pretty quick though. Didn't like the stalling problems but did like the pops and gurgled it gave up when backing off.

+1 for ^^^^

I've got an adjustable turbosmart BOV plumbed back...

with the standard turbo it sounded ok... but when i started pumping 19psi through the piping it went crazy

especially on the motorways... 5th gear... gave the throttle a little tap then back off and all you hear is... tsu tsu tsu tsu tsu tsu hahaha

but yeh... getting over it a bit... might loosen the BOV to just get a big old whoosh!

i did this to my car.. =) when i got an aftermarket BOV. i pulled it appart and added a spacer inbetween the spring and piston to make the spring tension harder. so on really hi boot it would open and on low boost it would flutter! =)

Do it...... coke can gasket (in my case, carlton mid can gasket  )

I put it in for a week or two then take it out when I get sick of the lag.

I'll probably put it back in again soon :D

I'm also considering taking my turbosmart plumb back apart and adding a space saver, just not sure if I can bring myself to do actually pull it apart. It seems kinda hard...

Here is a way you can do it and avoid all of the stalling issues.

What you really need is a door hinge, some blutack, rubber bands and an icecream container...oh and a mirror...

1. Screw (or blutack) the hinge to the cowling around your cooling fan...cut a peice of the icecream container, preferably an L-shape and blutack it to the other side of the hinge..Put the rest of the blutack on the end of the l-shape..

2. Then get the rubber bands and place them between the hinge and your fully hectik sick oil filler cap...(the one thats make an extra 38rwkw)...

3. Go for a drive and adjust the rubber bands so that when you back off the throttle, the L-shaped plastic swings into the fan...

4. Once you have made all of the appropriate adjustments and have it fluttering just right, pull over, pull out the mirror and look in it. You will be looking at yet another face that has reduced Skylines to levels of riceness that we commonly see today....

I'm a solutions man...Let me know what you think...
