hi

my car is a cefiro, and it has plastic autech skideskirts. you can tell they were professionally, and they used these metal brackets to hold the skirts in place.

one of mine has broken bcos its been attacked by time and rust, u can see where a screw has broken off in the pic. now the sideskirt is loose

anybody know if or where these brackets/clips are available?

thanks

the other day when i was a turbo tune i had seen theyd gotten some heating device and heated up spanners and bent them to make them fit in funny spots.

could buy a cheapo spanner from supecheap bend it, drill it. just a thought.

you could probably buy the plate for less than a spanner and bend that instead.

jap wreckers would probably be your best bet. otherwise you could start asking around shops for anyone they might know who'd sell something like that.

tbh, i'm kinda surprised there's not a good (esp. quick) method of r n r'ing bars and skirts, without the clamps on the outside...

bunnings.

buy a 3mm thick aluminium rod, bend it to same shape as the one in the pic, drill holes, buy new screws.

will cost you under $10, and youll have enough to make a few more brackets if need be.
