Help With Some Job Interview Info

Hey guyz

just wanted to find out a few things.

i applied for a position at JB HIFI and didnt read/understand a question props.

the question was if i am an australian resident/citizen or new zealand resident/citizen?

and i sed yes i was a resident/citizen of ozzy land, i understood wrong, i thought it was asking if i am stayin in aus or NZ.

lol

now i recieved a call for the interview and i was looking at the advert and checked what questions were asked and i noticed the mistake.

so was wondering maybe they called me coz they thought i was australian and maybe they only employ aussies? because i have never got an interview with them before and maybe coz of the mistake they think i am an aussie.

does anyone know any friends who are not australian and work at JBHIFI?

just wanna know the chances of me getting the job.

So if your not an Autrailian Citizen or Resident then are you on a Working Visa ?

I worked for JB Hifi for a while and there was a couple of people here on Study Visa's that worked there part time while they were at uni.

Were only allowed to work a certain number of hours though... not sure what the deal is.

Yep, I'd be honest with them, and apologize that you misunderstood the question. Make sure you're Visa conditions allow you to work, or else you could be in deep shit.

yeah i am gonna tell them when i see them.

i am allowed to work in aus, i have a work visa and yeah tis only for 20hrs a week when uni starts. when uni is on break i am allowed to work 40hrs a week.
