Almost. The standard gauge is mmhg or millimetres of mercury. 7 on the gauge (which is 700) equals 13.5 psi

ok well explain why on my old gauge all it had was -1, 0 , and +1 and in the middle of the gauge it says X100KPA

have a look for your self .

that guage doesnt look stock / OEM

it loooks like a cheap knock off

ive never seen a guage show +1 to -1 KPA like that

are you sure its stock ?

yes its stock

my mate has an r34 and guess what its the same !!!!

maybe there different in the r33 (whitch you own NOT AN R34)

go onto ebay and type in r34 stock gauges and see what they are or better yet ask someone else on here who actualy has an r34 and see what they say !!!!.

mine has -1 to 1 in kg/square cm, which is pretty close to one atmosphere, which is 14.7psi. So when mine shows about 0.8 max boost, thats something like 12psi. Assuming its accurate.

Mine are pretty much the same as the pic above. They have a dark background tho, but maybe thats just the flash. It looks pretty similar in symbols etc to the dash

My R34 boost gauge is just like that, not like the one in the picture. Contrary to popular opinion, my one is also very accurate.

I have tested it against my PFC boost controller output on the hand controller, and on another mechanical gauge and they all read the same.

It is however very unreliable! It only works about 10% of the time!

yeah i thing the whit backgroung is because its a series 2 my mates is a darker background as well , but i was trying to point out to the know all its not a cheap ripoff its just that its in kpa not mmhg.

there must have been a change between the r33 and r34

yeah i was told its more acurate to put in psi because its easyer to get a psi reading instead of the conversions and guess work (as in if its .7 .8 or .9 kpa)

?!

Mines the same also, dark face, -1 to +1 and i have an 02 model. And it's accurate. Although it's been replaced by the nismo triple gauge cluster now, as it didn't read high enough.
