Its society in general, lots of kids who think that the world owes them because they are hektic, because there mom says so or there ego outweighs there ability, look at the schools, there is no respect, alot of talk about respect but no real respect, they swear at teachers and old people, guys treat girls like shit, and you can get stabbed because you look at someone, we used to have fist fights all the time now they stab you in the back or get there mates involved because the little f ucks came front on they would go down screaming blue murder and crying like babies when you took your fists to there face.

Give them some time in jail, there young faces are not the only thing that will get some attention, Sooner or later you have to walk the way you talk.

what did you expect to happen...all the people that worked hard on there cars to get them ready for easternats..and then they go and cancel it 3 weeks before it. obviously there was going to be some pretty fkn pissed people.

I was there since about 9-9.30, i actually thought it was going to be a protest, this was before the cops blocked off Princess Hwy. I got through to be greeted by a crowd of drunk guys who split a path for me and only sports/modified cars. All other cars were banged on/scared away. Though it started quite peaceful, people just standing around, drinking, talking i really didn't see anything too wrong, a lot of angry people who really want easternats back on... the more cops that came the angrier and more ballsy people got. The cops really didn't do anything the entire night, i saw people dacking themselves infront of cop cars and i think its more the fact they couldn't do anything and if they tried they would be swarmed by thousands of drunk, drug and rage filled people.

I went hoping to see a lot of sensible support, to show how serious things like this means to us, how important one event is when we don't have much options for such things. Having sports and high powered cars is great, but we don't get to use them... Once these morons started destroying things i stopped my support and left towards Sandown where i was greeted by two drunk fellas who were yelling "ARE YOU LOOKING AT ME?". They walked up to me and gave me a heap of attitude, then called me a "f**king gook" when i told him to relax.

But nah... cars are more important than protection of people. All those cops were there as a scare tactic? It didn't work, i just hope that because of stupid actions and the attention from last night, people around melbourne didn't go without help from police. Bad enough this place has turned to absolute shit the last few years, now we are doing riots.

If your going to protest people, don't drink, don't get high and don't have attitude. Sigh a bloody petition like normal people.

The owner of the store must be fkn pissed at BJ snr. What a shame really, I couldn't do that to someones business... knowing that I would cost them money and they didn't even do anything.

A business of that scale would be making at minimum $10k in net profit a month, so really, there's no need to feel sorry for the owner. He would make up his no loss in no time.

I am 110% sure he would have insurance as most business owners do.

Matter of fact i do have a shop and am a franchisee in the entertainment industry, i do have some sense of feeling on what the owner is going through at this time.. and believe me, it's no biggie as long as insurance pays up.

So if someone takes a baseball bat to your car, its okay because you earn $3000 a month and have insurance, right?

I'd imagine he will need to pay an excess for the insurance and business will be affected while the damage is repaired.
