Solving A Rattle Problem (got Vids)

Hey SAU people and good day to you

Im trying to solve a rattle that seems to come from the turbo wastegate (inside the turbo)? on my 32 gtst.

I have spent hours pulling it apart with no luck i have a two vids that show the problem 1 close up and 1 exaust side (might be the problem)

If i have posted in the wrong area i apologize im in SA so why not use the forums!

could b a heat shield spoiling against something.... my old mx83 cressy did something similar cos the heat shield was bent and was vibrating against the exhaust manifold when i'd rev it

I'd say heat shield too or even a stuffed cat/muffler, cant see it being the wastegate as it should have pressure on it keeping it closed tight.

take the heat shield off and see it if makes a difference mate......only way you can find out

Heard those kinds of noises with stuffed Catalytic converters many a time (they break up with old age), though I wonder if that even has a Cat......
