can anyone help me out, i just replaced my coilpacks and changed plugs gapped to 0.8mm tonite coz my car was misfiring badly, took it for a test drive, it was all fine until i put the pedal down, hit boost and my car just farts, sounds like a bassy farting machine gun, but it also doesnt feel like its misfiring, its a whole different problem, i have no idea wtf is going on now, searched through some threads but i cant find the answer i need?

any ideas would be appreciated

I'm not 100% sure off the top of my head right now but is there a coil pack earth at the back of the cylinder head? S1 has it but just can't think about the S2. If that is not connected properly, then it may do that.

Also, you may have cracked a spark plug if you have not installed them correctly

Definetely a missfire issue. Check over each plug and coilpack. Something is either not connected properly or something has broken.

What plugs did you put into it? Did you change the gap yourself or are they set at .8?
