I'll get to the point. Series 2 ECR33 RB25DET. HKS Actuator installed and tuned to 0.73bar. Can the boost solenoid be removed and the hoses from the solenoid be joined together.

What problems would i get if this is done? If none, then it's fine.

Yes and nothing

it is my understanding that it only controls the high and low boost, basically like a switch

its off until the ecu sees the rpm at a given rate somewhere around 4500rpm as well as throttle position

the ecu then sends the signal to compete the circuit witch changes over the solenoid to high boost

Most after market EBC if not all do away with it anyway.

Reason for asking is that my HKS turbo has a nipple and a hose attached from it to the hks actuator hence i have no idea what to attach to the factory boost solenoid. If it can be removed then i'll gladly do it.
