Largest Set Of Factory Located Twins On Rb26 R32?

Whats the largest set of factory mounted.. or there abouts twin turbos for Gtr?

i was going to go single route and T/s but since i have everything to use twins i might just get the car back together and be done with it..

I got tomei dumps, amuse titanium front pipe, stock/ported manifolds hks hard pipe kit from turbo outlet to cooler.

some of it i guess may need to be modified to fit to the turbos but wont be a problem..

All to go on a fully built Rb26 with Tomei 11.2 270 degree cam's

GT-RS i do believe are the biggest factory mount.

Or the Trust ones i think are close as well... forget the full name of them.

Yep, pretty sure you are looking at an HKS GT-RS or Trust T618Z setup

It's between the T617Z and the Garrett dash10 with the large rear option

GTRS's are not the largest, the Garrett dash10's are 60hp more per turbo.

I can't think of the figures on the T617Z, but yeah the dash10's are larger than GTRS: GTRS pair is 800hp, Dash10 pair is 920hp

If in the future I need/want a larger lowmount, dash10's will be the choice but if an oversize front fan could be fitted that would be ace

looks like thats the path i will look down then. since its probably the cheaper option out of all of them..

hks 2835 came in low mount form... brockas has some over here in western australia

also i believe there was special order hks 3037 made in low mount

I would give the t618z 10cm2 a go. they would give some mighty big top end with a good engine, your big cams and don't forget to run them at 25psi+.

Its between the -10's and trust.. but i can get the garrett alot cheaper.. and already have the gaskets and braided lines for them....

i would love to do twin highmount but my sexy titan front pipe wont get used.

I have a 3.* litre full counter stroker in the pipeline...ill look into using the large rear housing -10's. Ill let you know how they go.

i was only thikning of this the other day, good time for the post to be revived. Does anyone have any real world results using the larger AR rear housing garret -10's on rb26, stroker or rb26/30?

Are the larger housing options known to shuffle like their gtrs equivelants?

When I built my rb2630 with -10's at the time, I was strongly advised to stay with the smaller rear housing (.64) so I did...the larger rear which was .82 from memory and was not recommended due to the fact that the larger rear is designed for single applications and if the larger rears were run as twins would require a 4.0ltr minimum.

To put into perspective, my mate bought my long engine for his circuit car and the .64's were still too laggy for his application, although, on the street it had PLENTY from about 3500rpm

i went for a drive in a 400+kw r34 gtr with a hks 2.8ltr and gtrs (big track car build from japan, big brakes ect ) on it and i absolutly couldnt wait to get in it, id been in and driven a few cars including a track prepped 2.6ltr with 2530s but never such a wild build like this, altough the r34 pulled like a train once past around 5000rpm, in all honesty it wasnt really exciting at all, nowhere near as exciting as the track r33 with 360kw, i mean the r34 had to back off at about 180( on a private road of course) as he was running out of road but i guess it all depends on what your after, im sure on the track this 34 may have been a different story all together, but i personaly think that the gtrs turbos he was running were way to big for his application(2.8ltr and street car), let alone a 2.6ltr, i mean im not sure what your after but by the time the power is unleashed its going twice the speed limit,

im sure there would be proven setups on the gtrs on 2.6s out there, but im just goin by my own experiences ,

but if its a drag car or set up for big tracks then by all means, i cant remember if twoogle was a 2.6 or stroked, but that pulled a 9 so depends on your application i guess
