Most Unusual "tick Tock" Noise Under Drivers Side Dash

hi guys,

i am baffled as to the source of a noise i have which i hear when on the motorway...when im doing between 100-120km/h i hear this "tick tock" kinda noise & the best way to decribe it is that it almost sounds like the indicator but louder but it is also irregular & occurs when it feels like, could it be a speed warning sensor? i thought it might be my speedo cable but the needle doesnt flicker at all...

i have nfi

its an r32gtr with 180km/h dash display if that helps
