Hi guys,

I am looking at selling my car but not sure what are the current prices?

Looking at carsales and the forum, I found that the price range for V35 is just too big ($25,000 all the way to $35,000)

Mine is a 2003, non-premium, manual, pearl white with 42,000kms. No modifications.

Auction grade was 4.5

Thanks!

Start with $30,000. If you don't get any bites after a few weeks or more drop the price to $29,000 and so on.

Or if you feel your car is worth more start higher.

Thanks Paul. Will try doing that.

It is just that because it is an import, potential buyers offer various prices with different reasons (exchange rate, claiming other people are selling at this price etc).

I have come to the point that I do not know at what price I should let go of my car.

Of course this is also on individual basis depending on factors such as whether you like to get rid of the car as soon as possible etc.

I think just six months ago, people are getting >30K for their 2003 V35s

there are alot on the market now, depends what you want for it.

Ive been searching a while now and picked up my 03 silver manual premium with everything and 50,000k's for $27k. also depends alot on the condition of the car - I had a guy wanting to sell me his almost identical car for $24k but I didnt like how he took car of it and drove it..

Yeah $26k plus would be reasonable as a final price considering its a non-premium - although being a manual and non-silver will prob work in your favour. I bought mine for $27k plus on roads nearly 6 months ago. I originally wanted one around 2007/2008 but couldn't afford it at the time as S1 coupes were $35-40K back then. Anyway there are more and more of them coming into the country at the moment and prices seem to be falling fast. If I were thinking of selling I would be doing it asap. Good luck :D

I got mine for around 26K 9 months ago, 2004 40th Anniversary Edition Auto Silver (Full leather one) but high KM (64,000km), then again i imported mine

i think if you'r one is in mint condition and you are not in a hurry, you will get your price... might take a bit long

26 - 27 seem fair for a nice tidy manual

Prices are a bit all over the place at the moment. I picked up my 48k Black 2003 auto premium for $31,500 6 months ago from a dealer, but black is always much more expensive due to the rarity. Pearl white also seems fairly uncommon. I agree, start at $30k if you are not needing to sell in a hurry, and see how you go. Geography also plays a major factor - the prices in Sydney are at least $5k less than Perth or even Adelaide. I would suggest in reality you will get around the $24k-$26k mark.

I was upset to see a silver 350GT coupe on Prestige the other day for $17,600 landed and fully complied. Admittedly it was silver, and a non-premium auto, but still that is insanely cheap for such an awesome car.

I agree, if you want to sell do it ASAP before the V36s come down in price and start flooding in, then our V35s will be worth nothing
